The School Food Review
All about the Government's review of food in schools, commissioned from LEON restaurant chiefs Henry Dimbleby and John Vincent in 2012
In July 2012, the Department for Education announced a review of school food in England.
Read what the review is looking at and the latest on their work here, and what we said as the review was announced.
Watch an interview with our former Chief Executive, Judy Hargadon, at the first meeting of the review's expert panel.
We’re working very closely with the team to make sure they’ve got all of the information they need. Henry and John have met with our chairman, Rob Rees and our new Chief Executive, Linda Cregan. Our research and schools teams have also been supporting Henry and John as they explore different issues.
We’ve also guided them on visits to schools around the country, they’ve quizzed our Caterers’ Forum - a national group of caterers who supply services in schools –and Henry spoke at our Children’s Food Conference in March.
